Young, Fun, and Fashionable

Who loves award shows more then me? I would think that is almost impossible. Last night Fox aired the 2013 Teen Choice Awards and let me tell you I was "aww". Beside the MTV and BET Awards this is one of my favorite, only because you get to see a bit more of the celebs personal style which I love. However don't get me wrong I still love ALL the award shows. While last night was great I have to take a minute and just say, how moving was it that Lea Michelle came just to accept her award and dedicate to the late Cory Monteith. Just thinking about her speech gets me all worked up. It was simply beautiful and very moving. Bless this girl because I am sure the last few weeks have been tough.
PS. Lea you looked FABULOUS!!!

Besides Lea Michelle stealing the show with her heart felt speech, Aston Kutcher (who told us his real name is Chris) gave a very profound speech about sucess as he accepted the "Old Guy" award. Now...given this was the "teen" choice awards so there was a lot of fun and laughter which was very apparent when Rebel Wilson came out to accept her award/surf board in a wet suit...doesn't get better then that, lol. However, the night was full of fun and flirty fashion. Everyone came looking their absolute best. Here are a few of the show stoppers from last night in my opinion.

Best Dressed
Call me bias because I do love me some Pretty Little Liars (show) but Shay Mitchell was absolutely stunning last night. Her outfit was young and hip...but let's not forget SEXY!!! Ouch "hot mamma"!!! She looked effortless in this Jenni Kayne jumpsuit and fierce Jimmy Choo pumps. Her hair was very subtle with a soft "beachy" wave and her makeup...just as soft. The whole look put together is just amazing, nothing taking to much attention away from the plummeting neck line.

Double the Denim

I am by far a true jeans and t-shirt girl so this outfit to me was perfect because its me in my comfort zone. I kid you not I could live in jeans, skinny jeans, boot leg, flares, whatever...I love them. However...I never got into the whole printed blue jeans until I saw these, they were super cute and the perfect length. I'm also not big into sneakers like Nike and stuff (I do own them though) but I manly wear more of a keds type then anything because I feel it's a bit more girly. Needless to say I felt great all day in this, perfect summer outfit to me.

City Cowgirl?

Pants: The Limited
Shoes: Target
Earrings: H&M
Let me just say theses pictures crack me...there is like 3 different moods going on. Anywho...today was just one those get up and go days (pretty typically of me) but I wasn't feeling the heels today so I opted for flats instead. Oddly...I got called a cowgirl all day, I mean do I seriously look like one because my shirt has plaid in it, lol.

Rocker chic

Mondays are truly the hardest day of the week, simply because your body has just gotten adjusted to the weekend. Well...like most I totally didn't want to get up but once I was, I felt like a fight tiger (lmao!!!). I wanted to be comfortable yet chic today and let me tell you...these pants made me feel like I had pajamas on, totally win win if you ask me.

"Steal" the Style:Summer Day Party

I know this outfit is exremely easy to pull together because it's effortless. However ironically enough today I'm actually wearing an outfit "VERY" similar. So why not feature the oh so lovable maxi shirt.

Los Angeles, CA: June 25, 2013
Spotted: Jessica Szohr at the Svedka Splash Summer Party
Wearing: Gap tank top, a calypso style skirt, and Stella&Dot jewerly
Time: Unknown
Oufit: Easy and Effortless

Get the look
Top: Try H&M they have simple white tanks for $5.95
Skirt: I found an awesome orange skirt at Obezz.com for $46

To make the oufit a little more fun trying adding another pop of color like a yellow crossbody bag. I would also pair this with a nude color wedge or sandle.

Keeping it simple

Today I just wanted to keep everything simple...which is basically an everyday thing for me, lol. I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl so for me dressing things up is throwing on a pair of heels or some wedges and I'm out. This look is pretty much "uniform" for me. Being a mom it is just easier throwing something like this on and going about my day. It's effortless but still a little jazzy at the same time.

Live from the...green carpet?

So...apparently my award show radar was broken the other day when this aired because I totally missed. This show looked like it had alot of good fashion, way better then the Young Hollywood awards that aired last night.
Here is a small recap of the fashion from the green carpet
These are just a few of the outfits I was loving...

Easy Breezy

Today was one of those days I just didn't feel like getting dressed so my cure for that was throw on a maxi dress and call it a day...

Red Carpet Fashion

I have to say I was super excited to hear the Young Hollywood Awards was airing tonight...anyone who knows me, knows I love award shows. I am that girl who watches it from start to finish and that does mean the red carpet if they air it. Well I was a bit disappointed with the fashion choices tonight. I mean this is YOUNG Hollywood and I expected so much more from all the youngsters. However for the most part the fashion as "okay". So...out of everyone I saw this evening I'd have to say Kelly Osbourne (who won style icon tonight) and Lucy Hale were by far the best dressed of the evening.
And for anyone who does not know what the Young Hollywood Awards are, it is basically the awards show for all the up and coming stars and stars who are just really making their mark in the industry.

Here is some more of tonight's fashion
